MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT
Since the beginning of the Covid-19 epidemic, the priority of our Group has been to ensure the safety of all employees, customers, partners and suppliers all over the world.
From January, a # COVID-19 crisis unit has been set up to take all the necessary measures during these exceptional times.
Thus, the measures implemented within our production sites such as the reduction of activity for several weeks while ensuring the supply, production and delivery of priority orders (in particular the Food Industry) have allowed to avoid stopping any activity last Spring.
The implementation of teleworking within commercial, R&D and international entities as well as the establishment of partial activity and other equivalent systems on all the Group entities have made it possible to partially absorb the drop in activity.
Since then, the activity has gradually resumed at all sites but has fallen sharply over the past year. This situation has been worsened by the current oil crisis which affects our Oil & Gas markets, requiring the implementation of appropriate measures, particularly in France, North America and the Middle East.
We must remain vigilant in the face of the epidemic revival observed since the start of the school year on all continents and in particular in Europe.
Our Group, with two centuries of existence, has proven its resilience in the face of multiple crises and will overcome the current difficulties.
Again, I would like to warmly thank all of the Gevelot Group's employees for their commitment and involvement.
Let us remain vigilant and continue our efforts to overcome this health and economic crisis together.
President - Chief Executive Officer
